Bow, Missouri and Crowsnest

With all the requirements you have as to what makes for a "good fishing
hole" and your "access problems" , the choises are slim and undiscovered
roadside places are pretty much nonexistent.
All of us would love to fish for free rising 24" trout in a place that we
have to ourselves....................
I was really trying to focus on was the "enjoy what you really find" in my
statement.
Warren seemed to suggest not fishing the Mo because it's over hyped. I
suggest fishing the Missouri. But, I also suggest being prepared to find it
to be less than it is often "advertised."
"All my requirements" includes the fact that I'm looking for places to stay
for several weeks at a time. I'm far less picky for weekend type stays.
After a couple days on the Mo I bet you leave thinking it's damn fine
fishing, but not much of a place to be .... the rest of the day.
I don't fish all day or even near that and the rest of the day is very
important. That is one reason I like Silver Creek ... Hayspur is just a
nice place to be ... or I can just go for a walk over at Point of Rocks ( I
even took a Labramutt to walk with last trip !! ) ... or I can string up my
3wt and walk Loving Creek, maybe this time I won't spook them all ...
I make no apologies for being picky about where I spend my time ... I often
sense a bit of hostility in your replies to my posts, but I don't mean to
offend anyone. I DO mean to please myself .... and that seems like the
only sensible thing to do from my view.
Have fun regardless of where you end up .... I will.
