Temple Fork Outfitters Customer Service

I know tell me this was a problem common to Sage when they first came out,
St. Croix on their early fly rods, Diamondback had to change their ferrulle
design (I had two of their first series of rods break). The commonality here
is "when they first came out", maybe they'll get more dependable, until then
it's a good thing they have good service. Until then, maybe you ought to
loosen your drag a little. grin
Could be, but I seldom break a rod I broke this one by being stupid. The last
one I broke was in 1968 when I broke a Herters rod by OPENING a car door on it.
I could not blame the guys who made the rod then either. I just got stupid and
broke that one also.
I still think it as pretty cool for the guys to be grinning while they fix your
screwup and you are expected to play with the dog.
