Had a MRI on my knee this morning and have two quick comments

(1) Damn technology is moving fast, since my last MRI ( shoulder) about two
years ago, these machines are vastly more pleasant ( I'm claustrophobic ),
quieter and faster ....

(2) I can't imagine how anyone without good insurance can survive in today's
health care environment ..... you'd think the richest country in the world
could divert a few bucks from new atomic weapons and space wars toys for
grown boys to provide for decent care for all citizens
