Just a hypothetical question but if I were to fish somewhere that was

And I don't mean the "Oh I caught a 50lb carp on a 16hook to 1lb hookline

If I wanted to be rigged up for it, what would I need bearing in mind

the strongest things in my tackle box right now are a John Wilson
Avon/Quiver and an 8lb line on a Abu reel of some sort?

Take a look at conger tackle. You might be better buying from the
sea-fishing section of your tackle shop.

Or wait 'til you get there are buy the tackle the locals recommend.

Cheers Derek and UFO... I didn't somehow think the contents of my tackle
kit would be up to it.. ;-)
I reckon I'll just keep me fingers crossed that I don't hook into one!
Thanks anyway.
