the party doesn't matter, it's the ideology.
For instance, Rudy G is hardly a devout fundamentalist type....based on his
life performance he could never run on moral values the same way. Interesting
that you view my expression of opinion as hate, as it more one of abject fear.

I don't think that they'll let Giuliani be their candidate. I know
he's ahead now in opinion surveys but I think the GOP trend is
hard-a-starboard yet. The fate of one Mary Panzer comes to mind here.
She was the GOP State Senate leader here in Wisconsin. Had been a
loyal Repub all her life. But she was pro-choice. The state Republican
party took her out. Actually funneled money to her anti-abortion
challenger (a Repub Assemblyman). And she wasn't the first moderate
Republican to have that happen to her. Another one of the state GOP
legislators (Johnserud) quit. He didn't make a big stink about it but
he told some of his constituents that he left because the state GOP
was too conservative for him. Was he forced out? Well, he wouldn't go
that far. This is the second big purge that the GOP has conducted here
in Wisconsin. The first was back in the 30s and 40s when they slowly
rid themselves of the Bullmoose style progressives.

Oh well. By fiddling with the questionaire I got my entrance score at
Canadian Immigration up to 55. Just need to get 12 more points and i'm
in.
