It's a good idea, as it lets you build a massively large pike streamer
on a short shanked hook. And like most good ideas, its probably been
thought of by a thousand guys over the last couple of centuries.
D'OH!! I hate when that happens!! Its like that idea I had about cooking
potato strips in hot oil and putting salt on them!
