the eye of the casual observer.

You don't have to count fish. If you're halfway competent, you will
catch fish when they start feeding. If they aren't feeding it will be
extremely difficult to catch them.

After being frustrated, and switching to FC, and finally catching a
fish, switch back to mono. I know, it's hard to do, but try it. See if
you catch another fish.
