Default Type of battery for trolling motor

My Motor Guide 109# 36v will knock you off the casting deck after a full day
of use.

The biggest batteries you can put in the space. I kill a pair of group

24s
in my little boat in a day of hard fishing. My big boat does the same to

a
pair of group 27s. Of course I fish in a lot of current so I am often on
the pedal for hours on end.

My next boat will be running a 36V with three batteries. All the guys I
know running that way claim to be able to fish a couple days in a row
without recharging if they have to.

I sometimes fish for several days where there is no electricity to

recharge
my TM battery. I need all the amp-hours I can get from a charge. I

have
room for two TM batteries. Any recommendations on the way to go -
conventional deep cycle marine batteries, new technology batteries, 2

golf
cart batteries in series, etc? Thanks in advance for any help you can

give.
