I'm pretty sold on the reel at this point. Just trying to figure out a rod to
put it on at this point. I'm a poor college student so I'm on a budget. This
rod will probably be my all purpose one, IE it stays in the car, and I use it
to fish places on the way home from school/work...
about 50 bucks is my max for the rod.

looking at digital dagger..they have the Okuma rods....ever used them? They
seem to run pretty cheap, and if theyre anywhere as nice as the okuma reels
Ive seen......

They run about 35 bucks with shipping. Ive been thinking of picking one

How are the okuma rods? what else would match nicely with this reel?
