If you really want to zero in on a solution, you would want to get a
different ISP.
Your issues are problems with the servers, and the IT people at the ISP seem
unwilling or unable to cope. Not so rare, really, especially with smaller
ISP's.

Hi Bill- Where to start? It first started by me loosing NG's for
several hours but would always return. Next I lost email, some times
for days at a time.I always figured it was my ISP but support said
no.Next I lost all NG's and got an error message" 480 auth. required
".Checked with my ISP and all of my setting for mail were correct.Next
e mail went south and again my ISP said "It's not us".and setting
were correct.Adelphia support took me to links to fix OE on Yahoo but
it was like ****ing into the wind .
