Nope, ballistic lady's "roff culture" did her no good but they
didn't call security on her. The wife, and I assume BL, got on
the next flight from LA to Chicago without so much as an apology
from American Airlines. Of course by the time the wife got to
Chicago she'd missed the last (10:30 p.m.) flight into Champaign.
At that point the airline offered to go halfsies on a room at
some fleabag motel near O'Hare. She declined and spent the night
with a friend who lives in Chicago. She finally got in to town
at 2:30 the next afternoon about 28 hours after she left Monterey.
