Ice? What Ice!!!!

Here in Northern Illinois the ice is almost completely gone from the
rivers.
Only about 8 ft of shore ice left in spots of fast current. Thin ice on
the
lake systems is too scary to go out on. Temps in the 40's and 50's for the
next 4 days. Open water below dams on the Fox River is just right for me
this weekend.

With almost 4' of ice, they're still driving trucks on the lakes up here.
