Without a doubt the best battery I've ever owned were a gel battery built
for wheel chairs.
They were made in Germany by Sonnenschein, not cheap by any means, but they
have a five year warranty. I ran the same set for five years of brutal use,
and never ran them down.
The second best I've found were made in california by a company named
Thermo, they were oil filled, and were almost as good.
I've never found a mass market battery to work very well at all.

I sometimes fish for several days where there is no electricity to
recharge
my TM battery. I need all the amp-hours I can get from a charge. I have
room for two TM batteries. Any recommendations on the way to go -
conventional deep cycle marine batteries, new technology batteries, 2 golf
cart batteries in series, etc? Thanks in advance for any help you can
give.
