Default Trailer Brakes

Hey Chris,

I didn't know either and found out almost the hard way...long story.

Answer:

You need to go to your most trusted auto supply store and ask them what they
recommend.

There are several brnds and prices to choose from. I used a NAPA store
because they always have top of the line parts and I did not want to scrimp
on being able to stop.

I installed it myself & it was quite easy. (I called the mfg. to make sure I
had it right.) They install under the dash on the drivers side and hook up
to wiring that is different w/ each brand of vehicle.

I am sure you could get a dealership to install it if you needed to??? or
your local auto repair shop.

Hope this helps.

The only adjustment I have had to make was when I trailer different weights
or trailers.

Hey all, I have trailer brakes on my ranger, and I have a plug on the
trailer, I was wondering what do I have to buy in order to be able to use
the trailer brakes???
Is there some device I will need to buy to accomodate them?

Any help would be awesome.

Chris
