Uh oh. No good can come of this.

Although I've learned that my memory is not to
be trusted, I believe the title essay first appeared in a humor mag
published by students in that outstanding engineering school, the
Carnegie Institute of Technology, when I was a student there, circa
1946. It is now known as Carnegie Mellon Univerisy.


Hell, I heard you were professor emeritus there in '46.

Any connection between CIT and JIR that you know of?
