Enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself it's later than you think.

Spent the morning in the Oncology Chemotherapy department
of our local hospital learning how to give my 87 year old
mother-in-law her twice daily shots. I thanked her for the
free mother-in-law shooting lessons and asked her if she
knew what some guys would pay for that. ;-)

Totally different clinical experience for me. Instead of
the regimented, impersonal, sterile environment I'm used
to, Oncology Chemo has a loosey-goosey, glad to see you,
have a seat in one of those recliners ambiance. None of
my folks, four grandparents, Kristine's dad, my dad, took
any time at all to kick the bucket. My dad, twelve days
from the "C" word to lights out. So the sight of all the
walking dead and near dead sucking hope through their veins
from clear plastic bags was sobering. Well, not exactly
sobering, I mean it's not like it knocked the scotch out
me or anything. ;-)

Just a reminder, like the Subject: says ...

yup....
