That's entirely a possibility. I do know that I have a number of
Curados
and Chronarch SuperFrees that have held up admirably. I use them for
both
bass fishing and throwing some fairly large lures for muskies, putting
them through more than I'm sure Shimano had intended them for.

So me? I figure if it isn't broke, don't fix it. One of the nice
things
about Curados and Chronarchs is that they are supported in the U.S., so
if
you do need service, it can be done locally.

I agree I havent had a bit of trouble with my curado's either but I got a
Scorpion for Xmas and was wondering if they would hold up.
