it is snowin' here in good 'ol Lenoir! The temp. is around 24 degrees,
so it should hang around for at least the next couple of hours.

I love the snow!

Peter, can a person gain Canadian citizenship, if they profess their love
for Canadian snow?

Mark --desperately seekin' DEEP SNOW!--

That would be Lenoir, North CAROLINA??

Wow, just how often does it snow there?!? Being from Maine, where we get
lots of that white stuff, I always figured North Cackalacky mediated
between rings-under-your-armpits hot and god-I'm-gonna-die hot. Never
thought you got snow more often than once a decade or so, and even then
only because of flying saucers or something.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Myron, you owe yourself a visit to some of the most beautiful
mountains on the planet. They're not Rockies huge but they are
mountains and they do get snow, sometimes *lots* of snow.

I try to fish in the mountains of Graham County at least twice
a year, spring and fall, and Jeff Miller will ususally host an
anti-clave in the fall too. Join us one of these times and your
perceptions of North Cackalacky will definitely be altered.

I believe you are correct; in all my wanderings around, I definately have
not explored that region enough. Hiked the AT through the Blue Ridge
Parkway, and drove/hitchhiked through on the highways many times, but the
lure of seeing the mountains is strong. If nothing good pans out at the job
fair in Boston in 2 weeks, SWMBO has given me permission to take a year off
and get some of this 'fishing/camping/canoeing' bug out of my system. If
that happens, I *will* make the fall anti-clave, thanks! I'll keep you
posted.

Always up for another mind-altering experience.
