i can understand solemn arguments and behavior following a killing in
the game of justice or a just war; but partying and chanting like a
bunch of drunks after a killing? um...nope, i don't agree with it...not
even when it concerns those deemed unworthy of breath.

You would probably not enjoy the Iliad, Book 22 then. This is Homer's
description of the triumph of Achilles over Hector and the desecration
of his body.
Maybe the Jihadis are feeling like the Trojans right now? But we would
not have Homer for context had the Arabs not saved the Greek books.
