I love it! This is the same motor as the PTSv less the other features
(depth track, channel track, etc.) I do know this technology came from
Pinpoint motors that they bought out. I used to have a Pinpoint
trolling motor that had all the same features. It was a great motor
when it worked. The problem was the top housing would get water in it
and short out the computer board. If Motorguide has fixed this problem;
it would be a great motor to have. I would call a few Motorguide repair
shops and ask them what they think about them. I called the repair shop
that worked on my Pinpoint, and got there opinion before I got the
Motorguide I have now. Hope this helps.
