I thoght all the ****C models were all left hand retrieve models such as my
5001C. The pics of the reel shown are all right hand drives. I'm not a
south paw but my granddad taught me to use my strongest arm to fight the
fish and retrieve with the lesser arm.

Done me well the last 50 years of fishing.
