Fishing?

I've seen RSPB debates, Woodland, pheasant shoots, wasps, Grey squirrels,
hedgehogs etc etc ..ad infinitum, but Fishing? maybe I'm missing the point
of a Coarse fishing group, but for some Bizarre reason I thought it would
contain posts on, ... coarse fishing!
I'm not trolling, but feel free to flamegrill if that's your bag, I welcome
it if it is legible coherant & makes a smidgeon of sense.

All of the irrelevant 'debates' you've seen have been crossposted to
numerous groups other than this one. Most of these 'anti' posts come from a
very few people posting under various fictitious names (sock puppets). It
is pointless joining in because that merely gives them further excuse to
peddle their nonsense. If the time ever comes for anglers to raise their
voices then the sound of four million of them, plus that of their families
and friends whose votes they could probably influence, would have rather
more effect than the rantings of a few nutters. Relax, go fishing.
