I used to like watching fly fishing videos on this website:
Fishwithus.net . Lately when i click on their video links, all i get
is an ad for populustv.com. Am I doing something wrong in trying to
view the videos?

Possibly. If you're trolling for people to go over there and check,
well, it checks out just fine. There a motive would be the question.
Otherwise you probably got some nasty little germy thing from another
site that's giving you popups. Or fishwith has added some popups. I
wouldn't know. My machine's been immunized to them, so it's now very
rare I see one. There's a free spywasher site around that I use on my
husband's machine once in a while that could take that all away from
you until you re-entered the bad site. Unfortunately, I don't have
the info right here.

Sounds to me like you picked up a hijack virus. Install and run a couple of
free adware/antivirus programs (I use three; the one that comes with the
Yahoo! bar, AdAware, and Webroot) Between these, I don't get hijacked or get
popups.

I don't think so. See, it used to be that you viewed these videos, and
you would getr a couple commercials, then the actual fishing video.
just like TV. Now it seems like I get the first commercial then it does
not advance to the main clip. No popups are involved.

haven't had the time to play with it. will care more during the winter.
