Default I won't argue

A recent trip to Idaho had temperatures in the mid-20s a couple times early
in the morning. I became aware that I'd like to own another pair or two of
under wader fleece pants.

So when I stopped at a local "all types of sports" sporting goods store
looking for some hunting items, I also asked, "Do you happen to have any
fleece under wader wear ... in fat guy sizes?"

I was lead to a rack with a sign proclaiming, "50% off Summer items" and
instantly grabbed the only pair of Redington wader liners they had in my
size ... very nice, very warm, and less than $20 !!!

How warm clothes designed for cold weather use, get on the "Summer items"
sale seems as fuzzy as Bushonian logic ...

But,

I won't argue G

My wiff used a pattern for sweat pants and made them out of fleece.
Took her about half an hour on the sewing machine. Cost about 5 bucks a
pair or less.

She does threaten to make them out of teletubbies print.

That's cool ( ah, or warm ) but similar to driving 70 miles to save $5 ....
I can't help but wonder if the total cost of the wife, the sewing machine,
any groveling needed to get the sewing done g etc, totaled, doesn't exceed
full retail price :-)

Just kidding, I wore a fishing vest my wife built on her sewing machine, to
my design, for many, many years patching it several times until it was
more patch than anything, and finally discarding it with great reluctance
..... home made by someone you love is the best available

$5/pair! Sounds great! I'll take two pair, 34"waist, 35" inseam. Just let me
know how to spell your wife's name so I can make out the check correctly.

No Teletubbies prints, please........
