I recently took a look at the forums over on BassPro's website. They seem
to be pretty active?

I am curious. What other forums, newsgroups, or mailing lists do you guys
use beside this one?

A web based forum has to have an awful lot going for it to draw my
attention. Usenet is so much simpler. the medium is made for exchange,
rather than needa slow web based interface.

That said, I still skim (but rarely post) on the BFHP Fishing Tactics page,
and am a regular on the CTFisherman messageboards. And I scan Outdoor
Frontiers forums once a week or so.

a.b.p.f. and TexasFishingForum.com

I really like the TFF because the vast majority of posts there are close
to the Dallas area, which is where I live. That means I get good local
info on lakes and baits and sales etc. Plus it's monitored so you don't
have to keep tweaking your killfile.
