If you are interested in National Forest management, don't miss the Forest
Service Centennial Forum at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. Nov. 8-10, 2004. Sally Collins, Associate Chief of the Forest Service, Russel George,Excutive Director of Colorado Dept. of Natural Resources,John Mumma,Forest Service retired and Ed Marston, editor emeritus of the High Country News will be there. Fisheries, Wildlife and Range are the major topics but more general issues will also be discussed Lively panel discussions are promised. there is also a Student Paper Contest.Cost is $50, but free to students and Forest Service Retirees.
