Default Whitby Boat Fishing Report

Fished out of Whitby on Saturday 6th November with Sea Otter2. I had an
excellent day with 39 Cod falling to my rod alone. Skipper fished and was
pulling them out left right and centre. Started off with Squid baits
drifting over wrecks then changed to Pirks with daylights, with the pirks
you had hooked a fish as soon as you reached the bottom.

Cod ranged from 4lb upto 8-9lb some real big fish hit the pirks but never
made it over the gunnels.

Seems more like a summer catch than the start of winter, well done anyhow,
you lucky blighter. So Paul has his new boat working now, good for him. What
is it like to fish from and how fast is it?.

Cheers

Dave

BTW Where are you from Darren?
