Default Will music scare fish away

I love to boat and fish, and I love music. Is there a reason I never hear music
comming from other fishing boats.

Likely it's because the boaters you've encountered are considerate
individuals.

If I hear another boat's music, it's on too loud.

Rock and roll ain't noise pollution!

Seriously, I agree. Its majorly annoying when the wakeboarders crank up
their stereos so loud that its bothersome a mile across the water from them.

Most serious fishermen try to minimize any distractions that might
interfere with their concentration. That said, one of the best anglers I
know plays music all day long.

Personally, for myself I go to the lake FOR the peace and quiet with no
noise or reminders of the world I'm trying to leave behind for a few
blissful hours. Then out of the blue, I get a rude awaking that the world
is just to freaking populated to find such a place, not even a lake I
thought semi remote isn't immune but is rather ruined by someone blaring
their music to loud, or a freaking jetski buzzing around me like a bee from
a disturbed hive.

I think I can speak for the rest of the fisherman that do it recreationally
with my above logic. Professionals too for that matter.

Bass are especially fond of Classic Rock, The Who & Pink Floyd in
particular. Just stay away from that Hip-Hop garbage if you want to draw
strikes...
