Bob LaLonde Fishing in March on the Colorado?

How is the fishing on the Colorado early March? Wife and the ladies are
planning a Hawaii trip.

March could be good. It should be post spawn, and the morning topwater bite
might just be starting but not heavy yet. Some fish will still be on the
beds. I'll be fishing a tournament on the 20th and another on the 21st on
the river. Also one on Mitrry lake on February 29th and one on March 6th.

Let me know when you would like to come fishing and I'll see what I can do.

I would love qn excuse to get out on the river before any of those for a day
of scouting.

The 15th - 18th of March the River above Imperial Dam is off limits to me
per ABA rules due to fishing ABA series. Mittty Lake is good to go though
in that time period.

Wife and some other ladies are going to Hawaii for a few days leaving the
3rd of March, returning the 7th. Trying to figure out of worth towing 12
hours each way.
