Default Moe's Top 10

The top 10 things I've learned while experiencing my first winter in New York.

10. Yankees drive just like they do in Florida, regardless of the weather
conditions.

9. "Slip Sliding Away" is more than just a song.

8. It takes much longer to get dressed and undressed.

7. Whiteout is more than a writing term.

6. Blizzard is not a shake at the local Dairy Queen.

5. There are no "Rednecks" in New York - The sun doesn't shine long enough.

4. Hard water is not the same as hard lemonade.

3. Ice fishing is considered a sport in New York.

2. You can't make yellow snow at -25, you're lucky if you can find it.

1. A damn Yankee is still a damn Yankee -- ROFL

Too bad you didn't get to experience some of the amazing NY state bass
fishing Moe. You were within 2 hours drive of a few lakes that might make
you move up there permanently...

I can tell you've never met Moe. I don't believe that he has a
mean-spirited bone in his body. A finer man you'll be hard pressed to find.
As long as you don't ask his ex-wives.....

Same here! But Moe was right on the mark with #2 - if it gets much colder,
I'll have a 1/2" hole under my bellybutton!

Heck, in my part of the world, Brass Monkeys are in serious trouble! It
warmed up to 15 today and I was running errands without a jacket. It felt
warm.....
