#12 Adams .... the standard tie, not parachute or some variation
If you go to Slough, or are in the area after the Yellowstone opens, you will encounter Gray Drakes and an Adams works well. For some reason I always get a great kick ot of having a "real bug" reason to fish such a classic. Add the fact that my first ever fly rod trout ate a #12 Adams on the Yellowstone ... and my box always has a couple |
