Default First time out in 2005

Went out for a couple hours today on Kentucky Lake....weather finally
got "comfortable" for me (I have developed into a fair weather
fisheman).

Went to my favorite spot for deep water drop shotting...two points form
a nice "V". Used a neon blue SR Plastic that came in a "care package"
from the kid. Threw over the outside point and worked it up and over
into the "V", no real big ones, but had four nice 1.2 - 2 lb fish in a
short period. My partner did a bit better, got a 3+ on the same bait.
The kid won't approve, but I brought two of the 1.5's home for supper
. I'm still in the old school....and I love to eat fish, almost as
much as catching em!

Got the fever now...glad my parner talked me into it! I just hope the
weather cooperates! I can deal with anything over 50 degrees, and sunny
out....it was 54 and sunny today! But I still dressed like an "Eskimo"
.

Man what I wouldn't do for a 54 degree day 3 more months and the ice should
be gone :-)

Sounds like your weather tolerance was learned from me, or vice versa.

Good job John. I am jealous we are getting 4 - 8 inches of snow today.
