Default Jigs in weedy lakes

I live in MA and my go to lure is a Senko. I decided to ad some jigs to the
tackle box with crwafish looking trailers. I like the lure and think I
could catch fish with it, but I'm constantlt down in the weeds.

Are these things designed for rocky bottoms only?
