Does anyone know of a medium sized lake, say about 1200 acres and smaller
with great smallmouth bass/pike fishing in the U.P. of Michigan?? Preferably with as few houses as possible on it and little to no traffic would be nice.. Maybe cabin rentals? I guess the key here is seclusion and good fishing... I have a lake I'm fishing now that fits the bill up there, but there's talk about them closing shop. It's all private on one side and state forest on the other with no access.. So it's pretty darn quiet and truly an awesome getaway! But I am looking for some other possibilities to investigate just in case but don't have a clue where to start with the U.P. cause there's so many! Anyone got any experience with the U.P. lakes in here?? TIA, Doug |
