Hello
I am working with my local Lake Home Owners association on a large scale carp removal project using electrofishing. Before I get flamed, let me say that I enjoy carp fishing also. Its just that our lake has become overrun with them, and we would like to restore some balance. Anyway, I would like to see the carp go to good use, instead of just going to a landfill. We are located in mid-Maryland (Frederick county). I would guess that we will be able to remove about 2-3,000 fish, average weight maybe 3-5 lbs. I have the supplies to build holding pens to hold them live (for a limited time)until someone can come pick them up. I any of you know someone who would be interested in them, for their private pond/lake, fee fishing, food, or anything else, please put them in contact with me. My email address in . If it is legal, I think you should contact homeless and/or organizations that represent the poor for the prospect of the carp to be supplied to them as food. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |

| That's alot of gefilte fish | While Carp is sometimes used in Gefilte Fish, it is usually a mixture of different ground fish. The list includes Mullet, Whitefish and Pike. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |

But not if you are talking about old fashioned completely home made from scratch. BTW, that "pike" often seen on the label is actually walleye. |
