Went to my favorite little place today. Took the wiff with. Friday was her
birthday, so we needed a day out. Didn't cast a line, but sat there and
looked down into 2 feet of gin clear water and watched 24" long rainbows
cruising below the little falls. A couple of browns and brookies joined the
crew.
Okay, so who cares if its Cabela's. Its nice to dream about nailing some of
these guys. Didn't realize it, but the PA Cabela's is their biggest store.
250,000 square feet of toy store and only 2 hrs and 20 minutes from my front
door.
By the way, if you go there, put your cash limit in your wallet and take all
the credit cards and leave them at home. That friggen bargain cave is
vicious. Caught up with the wiff with my handful of items from the fly
shop. She asked me when I was going to start shopping. Okaaaay. This is
gonna be ugly. Did pick up some mandatory things, such as a beer can
chicken cooker, folding camp beer cooler (for the Madison) and some rasberry
fudge. Crapload of size 10 Mustad 37160 hooks for more Frank's Fighting
Craws.
If you've never been to one of the larger Cabelas, its definately worth the
trip.

What! You don't have a Cabela's card? GET ONE TODAY! I use one to
buy anything that costs for than 39 cents. As a result I have a rod,
reel and line I got free; a pair of breathable waders I got free; a
fishing hat and jacket I got free; three hunting shirts I got free;
and lots of smaller items. And right now I have about eighty bucks
worth of points toward the next free goodie.

As a budding economist, years ago, I learned the economists' favorite
refrain: There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Absolutely true, 99.999999 percent of the time. But WRONG if you have
a Cabela's card.

Frank, did/do you have a problem with your Madison getting the oar blades
down far enuf in the water? I felt like mine did not "grab" enuf water when
rowing, especially in current. If this is not the Trout Unlimited Madison

Hey, saw the signs for the Tupolhawkabigone and Berks County and thought of
you. Trust me, you would have had to bring your family along and the
spouses let loose on the 4th of July sale would have been truly horrendous.
Brenda has raised shopping to a high art. I knew I was in trouble when I
found her talking to the daughter about shoes. The daughter was at home and
wiff was on the cell trying to figure out which pair the kid wanted.
As it is, though I do get a rental car in Montana, I can no longer afford
the lodge. Will be sleeping in the rental.
What the hell you doing working on the 4th? Thats UnAmerikun!

I got a "What's in your wallet" card and have paid for my flight to the
western clave. I also have paid for my wifes trips to Kentucky. I do
not get 3 points for shopping anywhere but do have a lot of options
when it comes to redemption. I highly recommend it. That way I can
shop anywhere and get points to apply anywhere.
