Oh, just go ahead and buy the place Louie. The next time
it changes hands you might be busy giving driving lessons
or something. Hell, at that price you could afford to put
me and my hound dog up for a couple of weeks. ;-)

What's the story here, Dave? Didn't it change hands just a couple of
years ago?

If you bought it, who would give you that wonderful service? You'd probably
let Western Roffians in too, wouldn't you?

You wanna go to Lakewood? I'll spot you a week-end next June. And
bring the hound; Henry likes hounds.

I don't know the full story - I'll call them in the a.m. Hope it
isn't a health issue.

Yeah. Three years ago. I've been up 3+ weeks this year and they
always had plenty of guests, and the fishing was great. I think,
however, that they aren't making a go of it because of several
unexpected expenses. The boat (necessary to bring the guests from
South Arm) had to have a new marine V8 (not cheap), and they had to go
to Poland to find kids willing to spend the summer as wait staff and
cabin/boat boy.

I hope it is not a health issue. I'll call in the morning and find
out more.

Where are you now?

Dave

If I bought it (no chance whatsoevertherebud), I'd let all roffians,
in free for one week. What a clave that would be!

Hope so too. And also that the financial prospects aren't such that good
new owners can't be found....

Where are you now?

Still in Oregon.... Have only fished once since returning from the MT
clave. Steelhead season is just starting, but it's been so hot (mid to
upper 90s), I can't motivate myself to go out. Forecast is for highs to
drop 10 degrees or so next week..... if so, will probably go camp on the
Deschutes or the North Umpqua for a few days.....
