Default A late summer fishing vest design....

Well, ok, it's a lanyard. Not a vest.
But I hate vests. I put two small fly boxes
in the bulging pockets of my LLBean fishing shirt,
wear a lambs wool band (full of more flies) around
my hat, and wear a lanyard, complete with hemostats, tippet
spools, floatant and all other such stuff
hanging off the lanyard.
....haven't put a vest on for years.

Nice enough for homemade, but I like the "breakaway"
feature of my lanyard and the clip that holds it to
my shirt.

Good idea. I'll have to look for that one and copy it.
What brand you talknabout?

Ah.
Breakaway means it *breaks* if you snag it?
.....this one does too. I has 12lb monofilament inside
the clear vinyl tubing. So it too breaks if snagged.
The "clip to shirt" idea is a good one. I'll have to
add a clip.

I don't know. Whatever brand that was at Dan Bailey's in
Livingston five or six years ago.

Yeah, even when the lanyard is clipped to your shirt you
can get it snagged. On mine there are two rubber sleeves
on either side of the padded neck piece. The ends of the
bottom part of the lanyard fit snugly into the rubber sleeves
and that's where it "breaksaway".
