Striking the Knot
When I was a kid I recall my dad complaining about trout striking the knot
where his leader was attached to the flyline. Hmmm.... Upon reflection I wonder if he might have done better by using a tiny white dry fly in those circumstances? Maybe gotten creative and tied a hook right into the knot.
