Hell, I gotta lovely bunch of coconuts, but I don't try to schlep them in a
non-commercial newsgroup; especially, after having been admonished
previously about such a low-life tactic.

Of course, being a low-life, you don't have any ethics, do ya?

Uh huh. I am sure people arent too unhappy about the chance to buy
clousers at $1 a fly. Except those that are trolls like you. People
could care less if a troll like you has coconuts.

Well, since you are so sure! Why don't you keep a tally for ROFF and ROFFT,
and come back in a month (that should be ample time, for a man of your
superior talents, to sell at least one fly) and let us know the number of
orders that you receive.

To make things interesting, I will offer for sell a "lovely bunch of
coconuts" and I will keep a tally, as well of the number of participants
from ROFF and ROFFT that order my coconuts.

You game Moron?

Come one, come all!

I have a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts* for sell, for the phenomenally low price
of $1/plus shipping and handling**, of course.

Don't let this fantastic offer pass you by! And, if you act now, to this
most valuable offer, my most sincere thanks will be included with this
unbelievably generous offer!

Respectfully,

Mark --the coconut_rep

*quality and quantities are neither implicit or implied. Milk of the
Coconut is not included in this offer.
Side effects possible include, but aren't limited to: a large lump in one's
throat, if Coconuts are swallowed whole; sever constipation, may result, if
Coconuts is swallowed whole.

**handling costs could GREATLY exceed the cost of actual Coconut. Allow 8
to 10 years for shipping.

FWIW: Mark's not a troll, he's a regular who contributes *ON TOPIC* material
on the newsgroup. Whether or not you provide a good product isn't the
issue. Ads are not tolerated on rec.outdoors.fishing.fly and people will
complain to your service provider if you make yourself a nuisance. It's
extremely unlikely you'll sell anything if you **** people off, which is
what you're going to do if you continue to spam the group. Since you're
using Google Groups to post your messages, you might want to review Google's
terms of service regarding posting ads on non-commercial USENET groups
(
http://groups-beta.google.com/google...f_service.html - section
6).

And, just for the record, I have a much better source of discount flies if I
need any, and I might just start posting that info in response to your ads
if you continue. My source doesn't spam roff, has excellent prices and
product, and my friends and I have been doing business with him for 5+ years
so we know he'll be in business to handle our orders.

Why would I do business with a stranger who comes in, spams us and insults
my friend Mark?

Mother would beg to differ, but what does she know?

Again, debatable, but thanks for your vote of confidence!

my friend Mark?

Ok, now I'm all teary eyed! That's right cruel world, I do have ONE friend!

Thanks Stan! Like everyone else, I am thankful that you beat the grim
reaper at his own game, and that you are fishin' again!

Hopefully, I will get to fish with you and many others at the Penns 'Clave,
this coming year--financial issues permitting.

Take care, stay well, and don't take any wooden Clowser Minnows, from a
SPAMming schlep!

Mark

Hey, flyfish_rep - don't let a couple of bozos discourage you. I think
you are doing a fine job and should continue as long as you can. In
fact, just to show my support, I'll take 10 dozen of each of your flies.
Please send to:

Truman C. Williams
700 Royal Street
New Orleans, LA 70130

Just put the bill in with the flies, and I'll send a check by return
mail.

Thanks in advance,
TC
