I am reading "The Compleat Lee Wulff" which is a collection of articles by
him thriugh his lifetime. He tied flies without a vise all his life. When I read this I thought that the flies he tied were salmon flies tied on larger hooks until the chapter I am now reading tells how he tied a #28 fly without a vise and caught a 20 pound salmon on it! He's was an amazing man and an amazing fisherman! Anybody here tie flies without a vise? Ed |
