Default Affordable boat? Could it be as good as they say?

I came across this site and they say that these boats are pretty good. I'm tempted to get one, since they're so cheap. I've been considering a boat for sometime now, but don't have the room for it, trailer and winterization. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks!

It looks good, but I think 8ft is to small for 2 people. Just about right
for solo though. Bill P.

8' is definitely too small for regular two up fishing, although I do knopw
guys who fish out of Bass Hunters and Crawdads all the time.

On the flip side those are very slow boats designed mainly to be relatively
stable for their size.

A rubber boat would definitely not be my first choice for a boat. It is
stable but hard to move around in.

Hello Addicted:
Your boat choice depends upon how and where you wish to use the thing.
If you fish small ponds/lakes that are protected with little current
the small boat you are looking at would be fine. You don't need a big
outboard either. Probably could use an electric trolling motor as your
main means of propulsion. But... if you want to use the boat for any
other fishing where you may encounter more challenging conditions go to
a larger rig. I have seen Rubber boats that have a hard bottom hull
that could take much heavier seas, Zodiac is one company but look
around.
