Tried these the other day, using a size 1 octopus hook, I wacky rigged it, Nice fall, nice wiggle, falls a little slower than a senko, but if it produces, it might be seeing quite a bit of action as it is definetly very durable, a 4 pack for 3 bucks, don't care much for the garlic scent, but the colors are nice. I also rigged up some of those gulp 5 inch minnows, fished it like I would a trick worm, short erratic jerks pausing every now and then, it was only abot 35 degrees on the lake so no takers, was only out for about an hour and a half, will have to see what these things do on Okee. Gulps have a nice powerbait smell to them and are very slimey, great colors and looks like they offer a mess of different sizes and shapes and colors.
Picked up 1 bag of the 10 inch turtle back worms in the gulp in black, hoping theres a big hungry bass down there that happens to be in the wrong place at the right time. I leave in Two days and should be in early Tuesday morning wanting to fish, so for those of you that will be there on Tuesday and need a happy to be in FLA non boater, send me your cell number if you have one, send it to . The speed of the fall makes a difference somedays. -- Public Fishing Forums Fishing Link Index www.YumaBassMan.com webmaster at YumaBsssMan dot com |
