Will they have Rolluxes, Louie Vootan handbags, and Mountblank pens for
sale, too?

Lefty's going to be in Atlanta in a few weeks (Jan 21-22) and I'll go
see him put on his casting presentation. It's always the same, but
always fun to watch.

He's going to be at the Atlanta FF Expo Jan 21-22. His presentation is always
the same, and I always enjoy watching it - just wish I learned more from it. g

Why you whiny so-and-so! These guys go to all this trouble to sell you
****...well, I'll let them tell it:

"International Sportsmen’s Expositions’ (ISE) fishing, shooting-sports
and destination-travel shows have blazed a profitable trail for our
exhibitors for 30 seasons. Companies participating in ISE marketing
events sell their products and services to targeted,
ready-and-able-to-buy consumers.

The only formula we follow is to make ISE shows better each year. Our
business partners - exhibitors such as your company - count on ISE
saturation advertising, new sales-stimulating features, and seminars by
each market’s recognized experts, and the outdoor industry’s most
respected celebrities."

I mean, you've been targeted, saturated, and stimulated to be ready to
buy - targeted AND stimulated, for gosh sakes! And you allowed to see
CELEBRITIES (again, for gosh sakes!) and you don't learn more? Sheesh,
please try to be a better mar...er, target in the future, won't you
please?

HTH,
R
....of course, the beef jerky recognized expert might be a real treat -
probably real dry humor...and of course, there's the muffler and tire
seminars...those might be a bunch of hot air and kinda flat, though...

And you get to *pay* $12 for the privilege of attending a "marketing event."

Geez, what a cynic!

TC,
R
....I mean, what's $12 for a chance to be targeted...think of it as
vicarious paintball or something...

Well, the Atlanta show is put on by another group and is $10, but basically the
same thing I suppose. I'll try and hide my disappointment when I don't see you
and RD there. g
