....the last visit to my sawbones was a revelation to say the least. The MRI
showed no problems with the rotator cuff (which is where he had been injecting me with cortisone for these many months) Turns out the problem is with my collar bone where it connects to the arm bone, which in turn connects to the wrist bone, which...sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, he plans to grind off(!) some of my collar bone to end the conflict with the arm. In the meantime he gave me another injection right where the two join, having to guide the needle down in there amidst bone, muscle and tendon and God knows what else. (a long-assed needle I might add, I should never had looked at it!) It seemed to take forever while I frantically searched for a bullet to bite on. The date is not set as yet for the slicing and dicing, but sometime soon I hope and get this aggravation over with. Just looking for a little pity here. ;-) Frank Sr. ....but to ease the pain, I have booked a three day float on the John Day river in Oregon this June. Ore. F&G claim 4,000 bass per mile on this river, I don't believe that but it sure sounds good. |

Hey, you Old Fart, such a procedure will be easy for you because you
are so mean and ugly. You won't even need a silver bullet to chomp on. Be well, Frank. Keep us posted. Dave |

Hell, I could have told you *that*, and saved you the cost of the MRI. ;-) Good luck with all that and keep us posted. -- Ken Fortenberry |

Eating to much Viagra will cause this problem
They don't go in cereal and on ice cream like berries and raisins. Good luck on the fix!!!! "Frank Church" wrote in message 9.11... ...the last visit to my sawbones was a revelation to say the least. You will be down for a while. Get the ice bag shoulder cuff unit. You have a cooler with iceand water and the water flows to the cuff. The end of the shoulder is probably a bone spur catching the ligament. My wife had the same surgery about 7 year ago. Affects women more than men, so maybe you are a girlie man. After a month or so of physical therapy, she has been ok. Before the surgery, she could hardly move the arm, and now has full movement. |
