Hey guys,

I guess I'm kind of new, but not really. I made an appearance last year for
a few posts, and browsed pretty much daily in here at that time. Got a lot
of info and the such and enjoyed it greatly. I think I may have
introduced myself poorly last time though and I think everyone was like,
"who the hell is this guy?". I just sorta jumped in and started posting.

I guess a better way to maybe get involved would be to tell a little about
myself and sorta start over. You guys seem to run in a pretty tight click
and have your fair share of trolls that pass through, and I guess as far as
everyone knows, I might have been one too....

I do apologize IF my entrance into the group previously was abrupt and
hopefully not improper etiquette, but if so, please do tell me before I do
it again!

I guess I'll tell a little about myself:

I'm 39 I live here in Northern Indiana and have fished a few small
tournaments and have won a few, nothing big, $100 bucks here and there. I
own a Lawn and Landscape business so of course this is my slow season. I
love bass fishing and people in this region just can't understand how I can
dislike pan fishing(to slow). I love the BASS!! I practice C&R but
occasionally keep 1 or 2 a year. I feel I'm a pretty ethical fisherman. I
don't have a big fancy rig, but the boats I do have fill the bill.
Definitely not a rookie to fishing, but still learning.

Anyway, there's the basics about myself. I think this group is great simply
for the fact that everyone here is here for the same reason, the love of
fishing and hopefully you guys won't mind if I jump in occasionally.....

Tight lines,

Doug

Welcome aboard Doug. Hang out, learn some stuff (I still do) and help
others. It's a great place to be.

Thanx guys, (Steve, Bob and Dan), and I appreciate the welcome!

I do have a question though already... Does anyone post any pictures in
alt.binary.bass anymore?? I posted a pic up there a few days ago and yet to
see another one in there of any fish. Or is there a new place that
everyone is posting pictures to? I found checking out everyone else's pic's
was almost as enjoyable as reading about fishing! Just curious..

Doug,
Most people, as far as I know, post pic's to
alt.binaries.pictures.fishing. I was not aware of the group you
mentioned, but I will check out your pic.

Doug, my news feed does not have alt.binary.bass.
I've learned that I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it!
