![]() Went with the dad and step bro into the hills by my dads house. saw a few jack rabbits, but they were running in front of us while loading our .22's and were gone in a flash. walked a distance back into the hills and saw no other signs of life, other than falcons, and a golden eagle that flew right over us, a cool sight. on our way back i look off to the right on a side path and right in the middle is mr. jack rabbit sitting in the middle of the path, broadside to me. I raise, take a steady aim, and fire. MISS. i could have sworn that i hit it, being a somewhat easy shot (it was about 50+ yards, low visability so give me some credit) but i saw snow kick up no more than 2 or 3 inches in front of it:36_11_1: . Last week we sighted in my .22 and it is deadly accurate. bummed about the missed shot at the bunny, i showed my skills off by hitting shotgune shells that i could barely see, let alone through my sights. i guess all these years of target shooting with a 22 have paid off, but my accuracy with a pistol is not nearly as good, but getting there. anyways, theres some excitement for the evening. coming back to sd in a few days -- Turdroller This message is sent through an NNTP Gateway and does not necessarily reflect the views or opinionsof CoastForums or its owners. |
