Its a BOY
Just checked my email, and SWMBO sent me a message that her oldest
daughter had her baby a bit early. So, for a guy who has never been married and never had any kids, its a real shocker to come out of the New Zealand woods and discover that I'm a (gasp) GRANDFATHER! Cigars all around. --riverman

Anais was born on Thursday in Barcelona, with an American (Chilean) father. I cheated, mind, and had kids first. By the way, I was a bit puzzled by the SWMBO acronym, and had to climb the dusty stone steps to the stone tower where I keep the leather-bound tomes of vellum, carefully inscribed with the ROFF archives, to check what it meant. I have in fact, many years ago, met the original of the (modern) SWMBO. She and her husband gave me a lift right across France to their villa on the riviera. Will try to write an OT trip report soon.
