Default MTC: Boat Rentals

Just talked to Jerry and he is looking into renting a boat for a couple of
days for the Mid-Tenn Classic. This is what he has found out, and asked me
to post this for anyone else interested.

Eddy Creek Marina has bass boat rentals available for $125.00 per day, with
a $100 deposit.
They are 16' aluminum boats with trolling motor, fish finder, and 50 hp
motors.

These are very adaquate for where we will be fishing and the marina is
directly across the cove from where we are staying. You'll need to make your
reservations early.

Call: 1-800-626-2300

KY Fishing licenses can also be purchased here. They also have an very nice
restaurant. Visit their website he http://www.eddycreek.com/

Default Boat Rentals

A 16 footer with a 50HP is adequate for most places with a competant or
resonably rational person at the helm. My backup boat is a 16' Waco jon
boat with a 50HP. I can run anything the river down here can throw at it
safely. It can be a bit wet in some conditions, but it handles everything
just fine.

I woud never take one out on big water like Mead or Powell, well not very
far out anyway, but for most smaller waters its great.
