Default Smallmouth on the Wisconsin

Mr. Axelrad and I will be heading up to Merrill this Friday evening for our
fourth or fifth (or something) annual smallmouth adventure on the Wisconsin
river. Those few ROFFians who have been there will attest to the beauty of
the setting, the congeniality of fishing conditions, and the abundance of
eager fish. Anyone wishing to join us is welcome. Send me an email or post
a notice here.

Wolfgang

I work Friday night but give me a couple hours of sleep and I'll hook
up with ya. Jacci and Mason (and the dogs) will be around Friday
night. Where are you guys bunking at?

BTW, if you don't mind slumming for trout the Sulphurs (Sulfurs?) are
going gonzaga here. You might want to keep the evenings open.

Presumably, we'll be staying at the usual place, the Pine whatever up off
the highway.

Want to meet us for breakfast at Champs?

Typically, this just an overnighter. We usually head home late on Saturday
after stopping off at the Bible Camp on the Tomorrow. I'm flexible,
though......we'll see what Joel's got in mind.

Sure, what time?

Someone on the WI MB was there last week before the heat wave and the
water temps were already almost 70. For that matter I had to drive 20
miles north of town last night to find a place on the River with
enough spring flow to keep the temps below 70.

Bassing should be good though.

Whatever's convenient for you.

Yeah, we'll just see what happens. Been a bit cooler the last couple
of days.....who knows?

Bassing should be good though.

Yep. Looking forward to that!
